The "translate_index_not_found" message is displayed only when debug mode is turned on -- it is to show you which strings have been run through the Smarty "translate" function but which are missing from the language files in the web/lang directory. If you are only using VuFind in one language, it is safe to ignore this. I'm guessing you fixed the problem by turning off debug. A brief summary of the previous problem: I ran into a weird issue when editing core.tpl, namely when viewing a record, all the main information was no longer showing, only the tabs. After various attempts to fix the issue, including clearing the cache and compile directories, I suddenly was no longer able to even load VuFind. Serendipitously, we had a power failure on campus, giving a hard restart to my VuFind test server. Voila, VuFind was up and running again, as well as displaying the entire record. However a small issue presented itself. On the home screen, the drop down box for choosing a search field is now hidden behind the search field. The drop down arrow itself still shows, right next to the ending search field. But the options now includes "translate_index_not_found(Creator)" (I previously changed all uses of Author to Creator. I'm thinking the drop down is hidden underneath the search field because of the increased characters and limited width.) Also on the bottom nav menu, "Ask an Archivist" (another modification) now displays as "translate_index_not_found(Ask an Archivist)". During the course of trouble shooting my previous issue, I don't think I changed anything related to translations. At least not on purpose. I'm not even sure where to find them. I'm hoping I just need to edit something in a config file somewhere. Has anyone had anything like this happen before? Many many thanks to this list, Nathan |
