Propser is an obsolete LaTeX document class. PowerPoint is a Microsoft product. The margin problem is a known bug in Prosper. I believe it results from changes in the geometry package that Prosper did not keep up with. You will find a discussion and solutions here: http://compgroups.net/comp.text.tex/margin-bug-in-Prosper The bottom line recommendation appears to be: switch to powerdot.
