Hello, the file rails-18xx-2.4.6.dmg is apparently defective. When opening Rails-18xx.app, a message appears that the file is corrupted and cannot be opened (Mac OS 10.14.6). Downloaded and tried several times. The previous version 2.4.5 was OK. Die Datei rails-18xx-2.4.6.dmg ist offenbar defekt. Beim Öffnen von Rails-18xx.app kommt die Meldung, dass die Datei beschädigt ist und nicht geöffnet werden kann (Mac OS 10.14.6). Wiederholt heruntergeladen und versucht. Die vorherige Version 2.4.5 war in Ordnung. Knut |

In this saved game, WR just built a connection to its destination, and I skipped the token laying step. Then I used the menu item "Special -> Destinations Reached" to record that fact. Result: All the action buttons at the bottom of the map screen ("Set Revenue", "Buy Private", and "Undo") become greyed out, so I can't (straightforwardly) continue the game. Workaround is to go to the Game Status screen, use "Moderator -> Forced Undo", then go back to the map screen and Redo. Also (I mention this because it may be related), when I check the box that says a company has destinated, a subsequent use of "Special -> Destinations Reached" still shows the same unchanged list of companies (that is, the one that destinated is neither removed from the list, nor does it appear already checked). |

hi the map refresh after actions is incomplete. Rails 221 und 230, the windows-Exe. Map after loading File -- map after completion of M4 at the start of the M5 the map is only partly redrawn. after laying a Tile, i must move the mouse over the areas, where action-buttons are. Good Day, please make sure that you save ALL Rails-Save games in a different place outside the actual installation path, if you have choosen to save them below your actual Rails installation path and want to change that path in subsequent installation. The way the Packager under windows installs new Releases works (designed by Microsoft), it will remove the path of the old directory if you choose to install the new version in a new directory. There is currently no way to avoid that behaviour. Regards Martin for the rails Development Team |

Rails is now developed under Java 11 (even that is quite old now) the package we release contains all necessary Runtime libraries for Windows if it is started via the executable, which sets the necessary environment. If for what ever reason you cant use the exe-file, you have to install the Java-11 JDK and uninstall the Java 8 JRE or at least configure your system settings in a way that the Java 8 Jre is not called before the Java 11 environment while trying to start our Rails-Jar. hi all, another error in 1856 (rails.2.04) TBG was started in AR 6 but not 60% sold. in AR 7 Player jupp buys 60% of the TGB. next available Train: 8 When in OR 7.1 the TGB want to start, this message came up. This will never happen, if no one buys 20% TGB. The rules declare, 60% is sufficent. game-file status: 1 click before starting the TGB. Best Regards. hi all, When i start the "rails-2.2-beta2-all.jar" programm on a Win10-Notebook, I get following errors: Rails-18xx.exe installs and run without Problems, also "rails-2.1beta1-all.jar" runs with no Problems. Hello, we are playing 1856 with rails 2.04. After the formation of the CGR with a Merger of the THB on L15 into CGR, no company can lay the Tile 59 on L15. There is no popup-Question, in which direction the Token of the CGR former THB should be laid. is this problem already solved in further releases or a new Bug? So, for the last couple of days I've been working on a weird little app that I've wanted for a while. A lot of moves in 18xx games are quite simple, especially doing the SR...but a rails move requires you to be at your computer, load up java, make a move, etc. A lot of the time it's much faster to just make a move on the go via email, letting someone else update...but then if the game state changes a lot, that can be tough. So I have made an app that will listen to drop box and then send an email with the game state every time a new file appears. That said! I am running into a final barrier that is a bit past my knowledge of swing (which is nonexistent). I figured the devs would probably know exactly what is going on, so I thought I'd ask. In order to achieve this, I hacked rails master to have a class which starts rails, takes the screen shots, and then shuts down. It's ugly! But it doesn't have to be pretty. Here is a diff with master that shows what I did: https://github.com/jcoveney/Rails/compare/master...jcoveney:master_printer (as an aside: if you have any advice for achieving all of this in a cleaner way I'm all ears) If I run this on a game currently in an SR, you can see the resulting screenshot below. The relevant code: ORWindow orWindowPanel = orUIManager.getOrWindow(); orWindowPanel.setVisible(true); orWindowPanel.toFront(); PrintGame.printPanel(orWindowPanel, "or_window.png"); I'm not sure what else I need to do to get the map to render properly. I've had this problem with various iterations, so I thought I would ask. Any advice? so I added a bunch of logging (of course), and ended up being a different problem than expected (isn't it always?). The code actually doing the writing of the screenshot of the javafx scene is getting called and then...doing nothing! Weird. But I can fix that I imagine...so, apologies. Computers!
