Thanks. I have also built cdrdao 1.1.9 for MacOSX, under MacOSX 10.4.1 (Darwin 8.1.0), via the DarwinPorts Package Manager, using gcc 4.0. The resulting package (from '/opt/local/var/db/dports/packages/darwin/powerpc/cdrdao-1.1.9_0.powerpc.tgz') can be downloaded at
Beside the cdrdao binary, it also includes the cue2toc and toc2cue binaries, the man pages and the driver table, to be provided as '/opt/local/share/cdrdao/drivers'.
It works under OS 10.4, but I don't know if it does so under 10.3 or previous OS X versions.
However, on my iBook G4, with an MATSHITA CD-RW CW-8124 combo-drive, cdrdao's read-cd command fails.
Any reports on which OS X systems it works properly will be welcome.

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
I compiled cdrdao for os x if anyone wants a copy;

There are also a couple of shell scripts for reading and writing images. You'll have to modify them if you have a superdrive.

If you get a chance to compile 1.2.0 for MacOSX, i'd welcome patches to make this easier next time...
