Arabeyes is a Meta project that is aimed at fully supporting the Arabic language in the Unix/Linux environment. It is designed to be a central location to standardize the Arabization process. Arabeyes relies on voluntary contributions.

The Linux GPIB Package is a support package for GPIB (IEEE 488.2) hardware. The package contains a development environment consisting of a GPIB library written in C, kernel driver modules, and bindings for several other languages.

Developer mailing lists will still be kept at Sourceforge. ---- OWFS -- 1-Wire file system. Use the Dallas 1-Wire and iButton chips with standard filesystem commands. Create temperature loggers. Monitor everything. OWHTTPD -- same system, only used as a light weight web server. OWFS is also ported to embedded routers, Mac OSX and Windows. Basically you can use these inexpensive little sensors and other chips with very simple wiring to sense and control the physical environment. The interface is very flexible -- everything from a web browser, to read and writing directly to the chip's "file" to integrating with your programs -- even over the internet. There is a growing number of 1-wire sensors: temperature, voltage, humidity, light, ultraviolet, pressure, thermisters, thermocouples, programmable microcontrollers, relays, lights, LCD panels, etc

Xplico is a Network Forensic Analysis Tool (NFAT). The goal of Xplico is extract from an internet traffic capture the applications data contained. For example, from a pcap file Xplico extracts each email (POP, IMAP, and SMTP protocols), all HTTP contents, each VoIP call (SIP, MGCP, MEGACO, RTP), IRC, WhatsApp... Xplico is able to classify more than 140 (application) protocols. Xplico cam be used as sniffer-decoder if used in "live mode" or in conjunction with netsniff-ng. Pretty Damn Quick (PDQ) analytically solves queueing network models of computer and manufacturing systems, data networks, etc., written in conventional programming languages. Generic or customized reports of predicted performance measures are output.

The Hydroponic Automation Platform Initiative (HAPI) develops and provides hardware and software components for automating food production using hydroponic, aquaponics, and precision agriculture techniques. High-yield production in urban settings is one of the primary goals. Artifacts include hardware design (mainly Arduino-based), firmware, management software and reporting modules.

Labcoat for SuperWikia Alpha fabrication manages new or revised fabrication processes. Its 'Cleanroom' applets allow codesmiths to access the lab environment, used to create semiconductors, substrate prototypes, chipset instruction blocks and other Labcoat projects. Our extensions in future releases will include UML support for C#/C++ conforming projects, import/export architecture schematics and refactoring sub-projects.

Maximal Clique Motif Reduction (MCMR) is a software program for running and then combining the output of multiple motif finder programs, such as MEME, AlignACE and Weeder, into a set of consensus predictions with associated confidence rankings.

MoViT is a distributed software suite for the virtualization of mobile wireless networks. MoViT provides researchers and developers with a virtualized environment for developing and testing mobile applications and protocols for any hardware and software platform that can be virtualized. The distributed nature of MoViT allows for the emulation of mobile networks of arbitrary size. Additionally, the network connectivity is shaped transparently such that the connectivity observed by each virtual node resembles that of a physical mobile network.

This is a unix distribution I made so that I can develop from anywhere--a virtual desk if you will. Some of my friends and colleagues have found it useful, and an easily accessible place to put the operating system up is on the internet.

ProcessViewBrowser & ProcessViewServer represent an OpenSource attempt to industrial process visualization. It is based on Qt and is very portable. (Now also available as commercial software)
