unable to connect to cvs from eclipse

Hi,
I'm the owner of a project called JFig. I haven't done any work on it for 4 or 5 years. I'm trying to use my existing cvs eclipse connection but am unable to connect. My connection string is:
:extssh:bxconrad@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/jfig
I'm using the same password I use to log in to sourceforge which works ok. When I try to connect and look at the head I get a message:
Error fetching resource list from repository. Reason: could not connect to :extssh:bxconrad@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/jfig: CVS communication error org.eclpse.team.internal.ccvs.ssh2.CVSSSH2ServerConnection$SSH2IOException: Connection refused: connect
I've been able to connect to another cvs site.
Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks for any help on this.
