After wasting days seeking a simple free image extractor for WinDoze, as a final left-field chance I downloaded PkPdfConverter. The only other software that found all the images without fuss was |PDFarea Image Extractor Free| and some online sites, but PkPdfConverter does so much more and without malware/confidentiality risks. Without time for full testing, I quickly tried the near impossible task of exporting a Beamer presentation to html (no not Power Point) and apart from the background image being rotated 90° it did a pretty impressive job with many of the links still worked. Unless you have tested other options your will not appreciate how this 'near success' is a mighty achievement (at the time of posting). You can even drag and drop files. There is some clunkiness and issues, so please don't take this as a claiming the software is perfected, but I have recommend you check it for your own use. With the latest version 1.0.1a June 2009 I don’t expect high support for further development (hence the 2 rating) which is a real shame. For pdf image extraction it is a lightning fast no-brainer, that has somehow been missed (maybe because there is no Doze start-menu auto-install). Jethro Belle 2016-02-26
