r438 has the same problem (spare me of sending another screenshot). I didn't create such a directory Imágenes - it was already created right after installing Ubuntu (Spanish) and images are stored there by default. Thanks for taking a look.

It is still problematic with version 1.2

    Can't open Imágenes directory

Just so let you know I don't know how to program in Perl but I'm familiar with tk from tcl. It would be great if there is a way I can work on the technical on top of non-tech translation work, using my existing tcl/tk skill.

There are multiple things I think needs fixing, one of them is that mapivi seem to fail if the directory name has non-ascii code. If you open ~/Imágenes (Spanish for ~/Images), then Mapivi fails because it tries to open ~/Imágenes instead, which doesn't exist. Furthermore I'd like to see batch processing made easy, such as making batch convertion 10,000 file instead of selecting each one. But one has to start somewhere, so maybe translation. Also do you accept sponsorship? In the "pay for feature"...

I'm thinking of helping, maybe starting from translation, but not seeing any historical patches not sure if you would allow anyone to submit works for your project? If you do allow, which area do you want to see improved first?

I emailed you Sundaram to offer commission on new features (to your yahoo.com email address) can you reply? It was sent 3 months ago with title "offer to sponsor new feature"

I figured this out by studying the source code. Right click enters the directory. Left click will cause it attempt to launch an editor on a directory which is an error.

This thread is 10 years old but let me provide feedback anyway. When I found filerunner I was searching for a tool that allows me to do recursive deduplicate. You see, sometimes I got copies of data in a portable HDD that is largely the duplicates of my archive. Normally I would open my own archive (my internal HDD) in the left pane and the portable HDD in the right pane to compare and remove duplicated files. I always remove duplicated files in the right pane, since left pane is what I keep. I was...

I've been using mdnightcommander for years and I'm looking for a replacement with GUI. When runing filerunner for the first time I press "Enter" on a directory, which should lead me in it (no matter left or right pane). But I got this message: Can't edit directory … in the text editor So "Enter" is the key to open the file in a text editor? First, it shouldn't be the case on directories. Second, opening a 10GB file with a text editor potentially eats up all my memory and it's too easy to trigger...

I found this thread in 2020 when filerunner complained the lack of cmdline package which was provided by tcllib. It would be great to declare tcllib a dependency in the .deb file. If this discussion gets muddy I will try to start a new discussion only addressing the problem that a dependency isn't declared in .deb. As a user I'm happy as long as the tool is usable with or without fossil packages, but the current prolem isn't the need for tcllib, but failing to declare dependency on it.

This issue can be reproduced without using default namespace as well, just in case you think this is related to default namespace. $ xqilla -i EntryToken.tsml <(echo 'declare namespace ts= "http://tokenscript.org/2020/06/tokenscript";count(/ts:token/ts:cards/ts:card[@type="action"])') /dev/fd/63:1:1: error: Type http://tokenscript.org/2020/06/tokenscript:__AnonS22 not found [err:XPST0051]
