I'm not familiar with texmac's, but know it's best not to add to the repositories, even with the debian based multimedia ones. Think if you want to experiment and test the water, go for it. I keep a spare machine and drives to test when I'm not sure, but can't predict what could happen the next day. Under settings you have Obmenu, install xfce4-appfinder to see how to edit the correct came for it. What is your usr name on the forum? I can PM you and send email to you. I don't know what Window Manager WM you are using with Crowz, either it be JWM, Fluxbox or Openbox? Please understand that none of these have automatic menus where it just shows up. You have to edit the new applications into the menu manually and refresh the menu. Crowz is built on Devuan base and non-free is installed in the repositories. Yes, all security patches that is present with Devuan are included.

Yes you can, please check your /etc/apt/sources.list and upgrade it to ASCII per instructions below. [url]https://devuan.org/os/etc/apt/sources.list[/url] No exact date for release of CROWZ 2.0 ASCII, however maybe just hours or a couple days! CROWZ and other Devuan distro has Apulse installed, allows sound as an Alsa emulation, using version FF 52.8 and have sound and video. YouTube and news video and sound. Net Surf is a great browser and like it myself for surfing the net but lousy when it comes to video or sound. Hopes this helps and appreciate you using CROWZ! Thank you zephyr

Thank you! Btrfs-tools was in place to support other file systems, it is not required any further unless the user requires it and free to download and install. Thank you for pointing this out and appreciate your interest in Devuan and CROWZ!
