Thank you for your answer. Then do you know if a "rainbow" method of cracking would work with VeraCrypt so that I get access again to my volume? I have memories of parts of the password that might be included in the correct password.

Hello, I think I forgot my password for a mounted volume. I tried a few ones and I am almost sure the good one is among those I tried. However the password failed every time. Thus I wondered, maybe I need to mount the volume by choosing a specific drive letter? And if I do not use the same letter I used the first time it won't work? Note that I set up my volume by using the most default settings possible. I am sorry if my question is stupid, I am new to VeraCrypt. Thank you for helping me.
