Resolved in Virtualmin forum here: https://forum.virtualmin.com/t/cannot-get-a-subdomain-forward-to-a-different-port-of-parent-ip/104600 Thanks Ilia for your help on both forums, cheers!
Thanks very much, proxy seems to work, I searched a bit more on proxy and used the solution from here (bottom post): https://virtualmin.com/node/13580 Created a sub domain webmin.mydomain.com (for example) In Server Configuration -> Edit Proxy Website set Proxying Enabled to Yes and write the Proxy to URL https://mydomain.com:10000 Select mydomain.com in Virtualmin and in Server Configuration -> Manage SSL Certificate -> Let's Encrypt -> Request certificate (if you don't have already a certificate...

I could do this really easily with cPanel earlier, but now that I migrated to Virtualmin, I just do not know how. If I have a site with domain www.mysite.com running on Webmin/Virtualmin, I just want a subdomain that can easily allow me to access the Virtualmin console. Currently I always have to type www.mysite.com:10000 to get to Webmin/Virtualmin I want to create a subdomain called webmin.mysite.com and this should automatically take me to www.mysite.com:10000 On my external DNS service I've already...
Some challenges logging in the first time, but managed to get it done :)
Webmin is installed, but no idea what is the initial username and password, I'm using Ubuntu 18.04. It has already locked me out once when i gave wrong password too many times.

Thanks Ilia for the detailed response, I'm checking the Virtualmin Pro versions. I only have 1 domain and I use WordPress , MySQL and some PHP site code, its for a new startup business which is small right now. Will the free version GPL match my needs or should I atleast get the $6 / month version? Or would you recommend one of the other plans that have a higher monthly charge?
Hello, I am currently running an AWS EC2 instance with cPanel installed on it. My server has 2 MySQL databases (one for WordPress and the other for a separate app), there is also another separate PHP website hosted on it. The cPanel setup is used to manage everything - both the MySQL databases, the PHP code, and all other file management on the server (including WordPress files). I want to move to Webmin, but I don't want to start a new server and migrate from the existing server. Rather I just want...
