HI Im trying to get data off my QNAP NAS HDD due to an operating system failure Im trying to connect tthe HDD to the PC (W10) ,but it reuests a format of the HDD. Not sure how Ext2 Read works, but will I able to read the HDD, even though it doesnt appear in disk management Thanks

Same prob. Not sure why its happening ,it was ok before. Its only a warning, u cant disable warning messages? At least the game launches ok and I can play the game. Thanks

Thanks for replying. This what I noticed, which I dont understand why If I click dxwnd.exe to open the program, I dont get the message. However when I click any of the targets to open a game, that is when I get the message. It seems it is trying to reopen dxwnd, instead of opening the game? I can open the game if I click the game exe as a seperate independent process after clicking the target in dxwnd first. Edit If I check Early Hook I still get the message but the game launches straight away when...

Im getting the Dxwnd already running message even after rebooting? Changed the ini file as mentioned above, no difference. Cant even see the process in task manager.

I got it working by installing indeo codec 5 and using NT compatilbility https://intel-indeo.en.softonic.com/

Hi Im trying to run Close Combat 1 on Windows 7 using W95 compatability and other tweakings to get it to work I got it working at one stage, forgot how I did as it was many years ago When I try to run it I get a message it requires indeo 4.1 which is old codec available in Wondows 95 I found the codec but I cant install it on Windows 7, I was thinking of using DXwnd to somehow run Close Combat 1? Thanks

Thanks that worked. Two minor things: I have the close button in the title button but not the minimise button, it doesnt show. I have checked in Mouse options, emulate Win Maximise, Force Win resize, is there something else? Probably no point as I cant minimise Settlers 3 using Windows hotkeys? I have window set to always on top.
