Jamulus - Internet Jam Session Software
I've been running a jamulus client with no problems for several months. Today I lost LOCAL sound. Everyone can hear me but I can hear no audio whatsoever, not even myself. All settings look ok. I've tried restarting jack and jamulus, rebooting the entire system AND reinstalling jamulus. I'm currently running Jamulus 3.6.0, jack2 and qjackctl on Debian 10. Local audio via pulseaudio (with jack/jamulus off) works correctly, so this is not a soundcard problem. I'd appreciate any thoughts on this. I...

The Jamulus Linux Installation Instructions specify jack2. I don't know if it really matters, but Jamulus works quite smoothly with jack2.

Related question: for use with Jamlus, is jack1 or jack2 preferable? Or does it not matter?

I'm going to be running a Jamulus client on a linux system (Debian 10, buster). Is it better to use Jack or Pulseaudio. I'm currently using Pulseaudio but I can certainly unstall Jack if it provides better suppport for Jamulus. Thanks
