    Hi Cavy, thanks for the clarification. There lies the difference. I was not doing a full install but a manual install as I already had MX23 alpha installed. :-)

    Fresh install this morning as I royally messed up trying to install steam. Once again, the install process failed to pick up on an existing swap partition. Easily fixed using GParted. This is before I have had a chance to install the latest Nvidia drivers Nvidia-detect is below this screen Also having run the command @Rayzer suggested.     ps, I should add, all other applications are working fine (that I have tested) and screen resizing is working as expected. Dragging the edges or using alt+right mouse click near the window edges.

    Hi cavy, thanks for getting back to me. There is nothing ugly or distorted with the fonts. Everything is crystal clear. The NVidia scaling is working as expected as is the custom font DPI settings. Check under Advanced questions to see what I was alluding too, there are screen shots there. Nemo , synaptic, the terminal are all working fine and look crystal clean. The rig original spec back in 2019 was for Video editing and uploading video's to you tube.     To explain the title, I am using an Nvidia 4070 with the 530.30.02 drivers. Within nvidia-settings, I am telling the displays to increase screen res to 3840x2160. I then use Appearance to set the Custom DPI settings on the fonts tab to 144 Open Peppermint Hub and I cannot increase the Window size so that I can see everything. Why wont that screen and the Welcome to Peppermint screen re-size at all? Thanks in advance Zeb...
