Have you tried this: 7z d archive.zip *.nfo -r The help file never puts switches before the archive, and the recursive switch (-r) always seems to be placed last. Hope this helps.

For the -t switch, *:r (default mode) doesn't work the same way with 64-bit PE format as it does with 32-bit PE format. An example of this is the installers for the Java Development Kit. The 32-Bit opens as expected to the resource that contains tools.zip (the resource is a .cab) while the 64-bit just acts like -t* was used. Installed version of 7-Zip is 16.04 Also, when opening an archive from the context menu using "Open Archive > *", further archives opened from inside that archive default to...

WinRAR has a "Reuse existing window" setting, which gives WinRAR the behaviour that Seipherwood is talking about. 7-Zip doesn't currently have this setting (since it doesn't have that functionality... yet) Basically, 7zFM.exe would need to check the setting, if it is enabled, tell any existing 7zFM.exe process to open the archive. If it is disabled, using the existing behaviour to open the archive.
