Hi, I know it is a couple decades later, but it seems this project had paused. Access to the source repository doesn't appear to be enabled on sourceforge, for visitors to add changes. Are you still around to enable this? If somebody were to fork to a more mainstream forge, would you be able to post an announcement on it?

right, not my fork, just trying to keep open source alive. maintainers are a huge point of failure for open source projects.

This software has been abandoned, and nobody has reached out to the original maintainer. There is a fork of the software that has been recently updated at https://github.com/vcaputo/recordmydesktop . You can use https://github.com/vcaputo/recordmydesktop/issues/1 as a collaboration point to figure out the best place to find bugfixes.
