This is a simple DLL that allows connection between MS-Office products (or any .Net development) and OpenAdStream API, also known as OAS. AdXML facilitates development of software add-ons specific to the adServer. The DLL allows for base-64 encoding of files so that creative & component files may be uploaded to OAS. For more information on how to use this DLL check out http://openadstream.blogspot.com/

After installation, in VBA (Excel for instance), add the reference to "OAS Integration Module". To create a reference to the DLL use;

At the moment our DLL supports the following;

  1. UserID - Your OAS API user ID (check the blog to learn how to create this)
  2. AccountID - Account for the API User
  3. Password - Self-explanatory
  4. WebAddress - The OAS API Address which you will use. This is normally something like
    \https://oas.[your url].com/oasapi/OaxApi?wsdl

  1. EncodeFile - This returns base-64 encoding string for a file. You send the file path. This is useful for Creative AdXML calls which require creatives or component files to be uploaded.

Future Development

We plan to develop a set of classes for all OAS entities supported by the API. This will allow calls from .Net or VBA without the need to parse out XML.
