You must use the bottom RS232 port not the top debugging port, also must use a null modem cable in between. For working on a modified version that supports waveforms, please PM xeonfusion at yahoo dot com.

The RS232 port on bottom should work, other ports labelled RS232 on top may not work for data export. Also use the null modem cable between RS232 cable and ventilator port.

In Mac OS X or Linux, you can "replay" the monitor binary serial stream using the .raw file generated by VSCapture, by creating pseudoterminals using socat and minicom packages. In the terminal use these example commands: socat -d -d pty,link=/tmp/virtualcom0,ispeed=19200,ospeed=19200,raw,mode=660 pty,link=/tmp/virtualcom1,ispeed=19200,ospeed=19200,raw,mode=660 Send the .raw file using minicom: minicom -D /tmp/virtualcom1 Connect VSCapture app to /tmp/virtualcom0 in serial port options and run the...

Hi Romas, As mentioned in this thread, a specific older ATEN chipset VID 0x0557 is needed for GE Carescape B650 USB RS232 data export. VSCapture doesn't support the LAN port as it runs on a different protocol ?GE Sapphire network. I have not tried if changing the network type to MC or S/5 may have any effect on the LAN. One of the users from Germany shared this link to an older ATEN cable that worked for him: https://www.conrad.com/en/p/aten-usb-1-1-adapter-1x-d-sub-plug-9-pin-1x-usb-1-1-connector-a-uc232a-at-989235.html...

Hi Avinash, Please try the latest version of VSCaptureCLI from this site and check if this happens. Are you using RS232 MIB or LAN port? The LAN option is better for capturing high resolution data due to better bandwidth during rapid data transfer. In serial cables, FTDI chipset cables may be better. Please email me details of your setup and company to xeonfusion at yahoo dot com for further support. Regards, John.

Hi Michael, The latest package that brings everything together, with all the updated modules is VSCaptureCLI (previously available as older individual modules). The drivers you may need is available in the CLI package, each device may have its own cable requirements and setup (search the discussions about this in this forum). To add new device drivers, please share the device communication protocol via mail. If you need more help, feel free to post or contact me at xeonfusion at yahoo dot com. Regards,...
