The problem started with KeePassDroid. As I'm mostly using it with my phone. When I tried to open it, the database just closed as soon as I entered my security credentials and opened it. But I got no error message. only that the database would not open and close itself automatically. Then I tried the windows application and I got the error message mentioned above.
