When trying to merge a window into another set of windows, it probably only accept to merge into the 1st or 2nd position, not others. Please enhance it to allow the merge to any positions.

putty-nd7.7 hung, not allow to type in anything, and doesn't allow to switch to another tab.

On my Windows 10 pc it happened once hung.
