Yes yes yes!!! I hate scrolling through the gazillion pieces of furniture I will NEVER use and cannot delete because they are part of the system.

Hm. That may indeed have fixed it. I installed both the Java and the SweetHome versions you indicated in your link -- and have successfully resized two different projects multiple times, with no freezing/crashing. If that changes, I will update this ticket. Thanks!!
