OK, first, I apologize for the typo in my original message. It should state that I am NOW (not "not") running Fedora 27 with the Gnome Desktop. I checked my java version (java -version) and this is what I have: openjdk version "1.8.0_144" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_144-b01) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.144-b01, mixed mode) Are these equivalent to Java 9? I have used and liked DocFetcher under Fedora 25 with a Cinnamon Desktop spin. I have not upgraded to Fedora 27 with the Gnome Desktop and I can't get DocFetcher to work. Help Please!
