Not sure. I use something called syncthing which automactically syncs my phone to my PC. When I get a new file that way, I don't have to re-enter the password. bill On 5/8/2023 3:51 PM, "Flávio Zarur Lucarelli" wrote: Thanks, friend. I guess it's because when I fetch a new file from my cloud then I have to retype. Thanks again!! The only time I have to enter the password is when I muck around with the fingerprint settings. Then I have to redo all apps using the bio login including passwdsafe. I only use one file so don't know about different files. I've had this experience for years starting with my Pixel3 and now my Samsung S23. bill On 5/8/2023 10:25 AM, "Flávio Zarur Lucarelli" wrote: Hi, Jeff Thanks a lot for your reply. Actually might be mistaken. I'll have to reinstall that app. The globe might have been there but popped up settings for google keyboard. At any rate I'll reinstall and check it out Bill From: bill [mailto:wlpage@users.sourceforge.net] Sent: Sunday, July 28, 2019 1:40 PM To: [passwdsafe:discussion] 1067587@discussion.passwdsafe.p.re.sourceforge.net Subject: [passwdsafe:discussion] Re: Keyboard Sometimes not Available In that app, the globe isn't present. In that app, the globe isn't present. I can try long press but I don't think that will work as I've done that to try a paste. I'll also look on the bottom to see if anything is there. Jeff; Not sure I care about where you would put it although I think the menu would be a cleaner choice and keep it from taking real estate. But how about a setting that defaults it to rw or ro. Like Huw I almost always open read (try to update passwords etc on one desktop ). I’ve gotten that password invalidated 3 or 4 times but I can’t tell you the circumstances as it hasn’t happened lately. I'd be content just with a menu item as I don't use the password safe keyboard most of the time (although I've had trouble recently switching back and forth so I may need to use it more). But on that, I think a long press or dividing the password key in a 2/3, 1/3 would also work. One potential problem I see with the long press is making sure which one it is. What about flashing a different color for the old password? bill From: noreply@sourceforge.net [mailto:noreply@sourceforge.net] Sent: Wednesday,...
