Hello, I have (re)installed this Ubuntu DDE on my 15 year old Sony Vaio VPCCW laptop. Intel i5 M520 @ 2.40 GHz x 4, 4gb ram. It also has the Nvidia GeForce GT 330M. I installed the only recommended driver 340.108. Reason why I reinstalled this is because I had initially had autologin enabled on the install.
