Sorry for bumping an old thread. I was looking for an actual fix as I have this issue myself, and I've only "sort-of-solved" this issue by having the Configuration Editor autostart with Windows (by adding the shortcut into shell:startup), and it lets me see the driver status upon startup, for the cost of closing one window if they're working properly; instead of noticing the audio is somewhat off later on.
