Hello, I would like to ask, if there is any difference between the AoA (angle at which the oncoming airflow meets the wing's chord line) and "Alpha" in XFLR5? I would expect, that both expressions refers to the same thing, but now I'm in doubt. On a Cm/Alpha Graph I'm looking for trim speed for two airplane settings. In first case, main wing is tilted +3 degrees and elevator has 0 degrees, in second case, main wing is 0 degrees and elevator is tilted -3 degrees. I'm getting different results, but...

Based on what was said above, do I understand correctly, that when I want to find required trim speed of my plane in the XFLR5, I have to always keep the main wing 0 deg tilt and adjust only horizontal stabilizer? Sorry if this is a stupid question. Kind Regards Tomas
