Well, I am not defending their moderation practices, just trying to theorize what might have happened. Personally I have not found their moderation to be nearly as bad as some other sites, but that's just me. I'm not sure how often you install a PBX on a Raspberry Pi, but I do it so seldom that the time needed for the script to run isn't a huge consideration for me. I'm not familiar with chan_dongle, I'm guessing it would probably be fairly easy to modify that install script to include it along with...
My guess would be that if you logged in as a new user with no posting history and mentioned your install guide, they may have thought you were going to spam the forum. I mean, if someone asks a question, you should not provide a link to a blog or website providing a detailed answer, or what? Sadly, I have found that on MANY sites if you register as a new user and post a link in your first post, even if it is just to Google or Wikipedia or something, you will be banned (at least temporarily). By any chance did you mention or in some way try to promote your book? They don't much like spam there. Also, there is no "their version of RasPBX software". There is an install script in a thread titled "FreePBX for the Raspberry Pi" which is NOT RasPBX, although because both projects install FreePBX and Asterisk, there are a lot of commonalities. There is no reason that more than one person can't come up with a script or program that does the heavy lifting involved in installing FreePBX and Asterisk....
Same issue here with Meteo 3.4.3 on MacOS 10.15.7 (Catalina).
