Hi all, I am new to Meshlab and I am trying to use it on a project involving 3D meshes given as .stl files. I need to programmatically (via command line) perform anisotropic alignment of several such .stl files. Do you know if this is something feasible with Meshlab? I have found this page http://www.andrewhazelden.com/blog/2012/04/automate-your-meshlab-workflow-with-mlx-filter-scripts/ which says that filters can be launched with a mlx script, however alignment is not a filter as far as I understand....

Hello, I'm trying to perform non-rigid shape registration between two stl files. The source shape is a mesh template for a part of the human body. The target shape is a mesh obtained via 3D scanning of that part of the body of an actual person. Do you know how to perform non-rigid registration between these two shapes in Meshlab? I have actually identified three possible ways to achieve that but none of them seems to work. I have tried: 1. unticking "Rigid Matching" in the "Edit Defaults ICP Parameters..."...
