What I noticed is that when I paste clipboard content in a new image (I use Mac OS X's cmd+shift+ctrl+4, then in Paintbrush I use File->New From Clipboard, cmd+shift+N), if I do not save the image right away, and I use the text tool to write something on the image, then the situation described above will occur (Save does nothing, Save As does nothing, Quit does not qork, I need to Force-Quit). If I save the image before I use the text tool, then all will be fine, I can add text, save, save as, etc.,...
