After reverting to fluidsynth 2.1.1 it compiled. There must be some changes make after 2.1.1 that cause the compilation to break on Debian 9. What version of GCC are your packages compiled with?

I see that 2.1.1 was released on 16th February and 2.1.2 in April. Is the fluidsynth in the AppImage the normal Debian package version on your build machine or was it compiled from source? What version of Debian did you build it on, Stretch or Buster? I will checkout the 2.1.1 build and see if it will compile without errors. If it proves troublesome I will just stick with the AppImage. Thanks

Is the configuration for building the appimage included in the source?
