You need to have a Root folder so MC knows where to handle the series info. If you don't have a root folder, you will have other problems occurring in MC. While the crash should be caught better, it does highlight that your doing something outside of normal function of MC.

Not possible. While you can drag a new series into the list, MC doesn't monitor where it is dropped, as its a new series. Likewise for episodes, MC wouldn't know where you dropped in, what series your adding it to, and how would MC know what season or episode number it is, if it isn't in the filename. Sorry, not possible.

Some options in the batch rescrape wizard will also initialize TMDb. Options that require TMDB Series or Episode TMDBId, Series or Episode Ratings from TMDb Series Tags (KeyWords) and Series Trailer Where as if the series was initially scraped from TVDB, clicking the Rescrape TVShow, will just scrape the show from TVDb.

Make sure you have not extracted MC to a protected location. so not to desktop program files folder user folder (including download folder) see wiki for install instructions. I have a folder in c drive C:\MC and put the downloaded file here, then double click to self extract. Hope this helps.

First, the allow adult content is for unconstrained search on TMDb. Without this, R rated movies don't return results. If the Adult movies exists on TMDB then it should return a result. As for files remaining if you doe a Delete nfo etc. This could be if naming convention changed between initial scraping, and your settings now. I tend to go into the movie folders, and delete everything except for the movie, and external subtitle files.
