@virgilm so sorry that you've had some issues with access. Something wen't wrong with our system. I've corrected the issue and should be resolved now.
Hello @jollypike its still on the backlog unfortuntely. We'll address it as soon a possible.
Hello @ruitertje - We could look into it. Is the source code available?
Hello @nelsonza The link is working fine for me. Can you try the following https://sourceforge.net/projects/unicentaopos/files/releases/binaries/unicentaopos-4.3.2_no_installer.zip/download Regards Hugh P.S. Polite request to not cross post. If you have an issue open up a new discussion.
Hi @nross1978 Thanks for you input and contributions to the forum and the points you have made are duly noted. There has been a long wait for the 5.0 release and a lot of ground work has been put in place for a much faster release cadence going forward. I have noted your bug on the plugin manager and we have fixed that and made it available for download from unicenta.com. With regard to not upgrading your customer to 5.0 I would make the following considerations. MySQL 5.7 is end of life in October....

@fanzam - all you need to do is run the following maven command . mvn clean package Just an fyi the code that @pomacentridae posted (I've deleted that now) is not anything that we have supplied so please if you've downloaded it use at your own risk.
@pomacentridae consider this your last warning to be respectful and read the forum etiquette before you post again https://sourceforge.net/p/unicentaopos/discussion/1126900/thread/453dbf3492/

The issue will be exactly the same on the reciept. The is a width setting that controls the lines size, but there is a limitation on the width and it does not auto wordwrap. To do this you would need write some code to do it. @RT the script you will need to change is Printer.TicketRemote, but Beanshell is too light weight to this in the script. Why not look at setting up some attributes for this. such as No cheese No Onions Extra Cheese etc You should really look at the line notes option rather than...

Hi @pomacentridae Thanks for your feed back and while it is appreciated I do feel I need to respond to some of your comments as they are just not true. Same here I was given the Linux version V5 along with the source code, and to say I am not impressed, is an understatement. You can't have the 5.0 source code as it has not been released yet. Once the installer roll-out is complete the sources will be made available. Seeing the comment about no more Java and the mention of GraalVM, I did some investigation,...

Hi @stevetronix Sorry to hear your experience has not been good. I'm not sure what happened with your emails but if you could let me know your subscriber id or email I can look into what has happened as we do respond to all emails we receive? As I was saying to @tony1044 the best place for support is through our unicenta.com forum https://unicenta.com/community/support-forum/ Also just to address some of your points was hoping in 2 years it will change, now I download the new Unicenta 501 to discover...

Hi @tony1044 - I've responded to your email there so hopefully you should be sorted now. We are working on resolving the website errors. Best place to get support is through our support forum on unicenta.com https://unicenta.com/community/support-forum/ For downloads please use the following link; https://unicenta.com/download-files/
JavaFX still fully supported on 5.0 even with the native applications on all platforms.
Just released 5.0 Jon.
Pleased to let you know about a new community release - v4.6.4 The release includes a bunch of fixes from issues reported on the uniCenta forums. Of course we want you to read the 4.6.4 Release Notes so you can check out what they are. We have also now officially released 5.0 to the uniCenta.com subscribers. High level changes (more details to come) No JVM required to be installed to run uniCenta The uniCenta installer will install all dependencies required without the need to install and manage...
Hi @nokomis449 - 5.0 is due to be released at the end of this month. The 5.0 BETA was released end of 2021 so its just over a year since that release. We release the latest versions to uniCenta subscribers and sourceforge gets the release 1 version behind. It has taken an unusually long time to get 5.0 out the door and that due to a major overhaul of a big part of the codebase and our APIs. Once 5.0 is out the door we'll go back to a more regular release cadence with an emphasis on integrations with...

Hello @gveasey1960 - we are aiming to release 5.0 to our customers at the end of the month and with that will release 4.6.4 to sourceforge. From 5.0 there will be a much faster release cadence and this will also feed into sourceforge with it being 1 release behind.
nice one thanks @ittyabrehman
Thanks @sitono we'll add this to our backlog! Would you be able to tell me how this manifests on the UI? Regards Hugh
Hello again @tekdoctor - this sounds like a significant amount of work and we can still look at it for you but I'm afraid it would be chargable. If thats not an option have you considered just exporting the actual data you need i.e. product / customer from Chromis and importing to uniCenta?
Hello @tekdoctor - there should be a way to do it but I've personally not done this before there is a bit of an unknown. If you'd like to send us an email info@unicenta.com with the version of Chromis you are using and the version of uniCenta you'd like to migrate to then we can take a look.
Some nice features coming in 5.0! One of them is we now have native applications for Debian Distributions (Ubuntu), Window and Mac OS. Checkout our little taster here > https://youtu.be/TMZz5i1Qq08 .
Nice theming @cblack67 ! We'll look to see if we can add that into the 5.0 release.
We've resolved this issue 4.6.4 - please take a look here https://unicenta.atlassian.net/browse/UOCL-212
hi this issue is resolved in with 4.6.4 please have a look at the change log https://unicenta.atlassian.net/browse/UOCL-212
The QR code implementation in 4.6.4 has been done against the ZATCA specifications which is what you are after right? https://zatca.gov.sa/en/E-Invoicing/Documents/Einvoicing_FAQ_EN.pdf
Hi we've done the work for this and is available for download for PLUS subscribers on the uniCenta website. It was a significant piece of development and took nearly a weeks worth of development.

Hi we have the posapps plugin to handle paymentsense : have a look here: https://posapps.io - Just ask paymentsense to give you your key, id and host name and you should be good to go. Regards Hugh
Hi @lead-weight Sorry about that! I'm not sure what happened there but I never saw those emails. Our EMV solution does print out transaction info when first complete the transaction but we don't persist this data on uniCenta so you won't get all the cc transactional data when you re-print a uniCenta receipt. If you want transaction info then it will need to be done via the PDQ. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by menu help as a service? Could you explain a little bit more? Regards Hugh
Hi Joe Not had an email from you if you could let me know what you were after? Regards Hugh
Hi Jeo Not had an email from you if you could let me know what you were after? Regards Hugh
Happy New Year to you! We hope that 2021 will be a prosperous one for you and your loved ones! Pleased to let you know about a new community release - v4.6.1 The release includes a bunch of fixes from issues reported on the uniCenta forums. Of course we want you to read the 4.6.1 Release Notes so you can check out what they are. When upgrading to 4.6.1 from previous 4.5 versions you will need to install 4.6 first then 4.6.1. Not great I know and we're working on sorting out our migration strategy...
@alfirus remove the look and feel iin the unicentaopos.properties and you should be sorted. swing.defaultlaf=javax.swing.plaf.metal.MetalLookAndFeel
Hello @Jorge this issue has been addressed in 4.6.3 which we'll be releasing this weekend hopefully. It will also be included in the 5.0 Release once the beta phase has been completed. https://unicenta.atlassian.net/browse/UOCL-177 Regards Hugh
I see you've read the forum Etiquette guidelines then @sebastian2020 😂 I'll forgive you as I suspect english is not your native tongue.
@mccfokl I understand that you are trying to charge people or canvasing to get the 4.6.2 release and webserver in exchange for your updates. If you want to contribute your source code to the project I will give you access but please don't use this forum as a means to charge people.
Can we include this in sources @mccfokl ?
Make sure you are using mysql 5.7 and not version 8
here we go https://www.youtube.com/user/drarregj/videos
Hello @niarferincon - can you make sure you are using the Oracle java 8 as uniCenta has javafx depedencies and some of the other jdks don't support this out of the box. Here is a link to the download: https://www.oracle.com/uk/java/technologies/javase/javase-jdk8-downloads.html Also have you modified the source code?
Hello @ogpete - would it be possible to get a copy of you Printer.Ticket from the resources? Regards Hugh
Hi @MerseyRay - glad you got sorted out there. PaymentSense should have provided you with all three values and as you have figured out the last one is the terminal id. Regards Hugh
Not yet I'm afraid @ogpete ... will let you know as soon as I get to the bottom of it.
Hi @ogpete Thanks for letting me know I'll need to investigate further. Regards Hugh
As far as the UK is concerned thats the VAT value
Hi @ogpete After further investigation I can confirm that tax IS being reported on the digital receipt. Please see attached image of the testing done. Please insure that the Printer.Ticket is correctly configured. Regards Hugh
Hello @pospoint After further investigation I can confirm that tax IS being reported on the digital receipt. Please see attached image of the testing done. Please insure that the Printer.Ticket is correctly configured. Regards Hugh
Hi @ogpete I'm investigating the issue. It may be a bug that needs to be addressed and as such will need a new release of the software. Unfortuntely I'm dealling with quite a serious issue with our hosting service provider. This is high on our list of priorities and I will address as soon as possible. Regards Hugh
Hi @ogpete Is the VAT breakdown on the printed receipt? Regards Hugh
Hi @ogpete After further investigations looks like there was an issue on one of our servers. This has been resolved now. Would you be able to try again. Regards Hugh
Hello @ogpete As posapps has a javafx dependency you need to make sure you are using the oracle java 8 version of java. The download can be found here: https://www.oracle.com/uk/java/technologies/javase/javase-jdk8-downloads.html . This is probably the most common reason for this not working. Regards Hugh
Hello @nicoz I've been able to replicate this issue on 4.6.2 and will open a ticket to address. In the mean time there is a work around. Instead of going through the refund ticket route do a negative sale for the same product for the customer and pay on account. This should keep credit values and stock values in line. https://unicenta.atlassian.net/browse/UOCL-189 Regards Hugh
Hello @nicoz - I've responded to you on the main uniCenta forum there and will be addressed with a bug fix. Regards Hugh
fyi https://sourceforge.net/p/unicentaopos/discussion/1126900/thread/cc54641aee/#c5af
Hello @cmarinv2005 Not sure what I've not resonded to there but the sources are availablel for download and if you search the forum there are a few solutions to the maven build issue.
Hi @vozohori Java 11 won't be able to build the project. There are fundimental differences between java 8 and 11 particulary around javafx. Please use the oracle jdk 8 for you builds here is a link to the download -> https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase/javase-jdk8-downloads.html Regards Hugh
Hello @gabiiz The version that supports iOS and Android is a web version that runs in the browser i.e. its not a native application. Sources are available. Regards Hugh
@androo82 thanks for the post ... mate no problems with solutions being posted here. Happy for you post your findings. Your ideas and input very much appreciated.
Hi @ikramhaider2001 Appologies I replied to your sourceforge email. I've resent it to the correct email address now!
Hi @ikramhaider2001 Can you pass over your email address and we'll continue the convesation there. Regards Hugh
Hi @aristocat1 Sounds like your DB settings are the cause. Have you got the UTF-8 setttings enabled? Also as you are a uniCenta subscriber you also have access to the support forum :) Please take a look here for the settings: https://unicenta.com/community/installation/names-of-products-imported-in-arabic/#post-9985 Regards Hugh
Hello @ikramhaider2001 Thanks for your interest in the posApps api. You will see that there are a number of open source APIs here : https://bitbucket.org/posapps/workspace/projects/OP The purpose of these APIs is exactly what you are wanting. At the moment these are still very much in development and do not fufill all your requirments. One of the reasons for open sourcing the APIs is so I can get help to do exactly what you are asking for. I'd be happy to work with you to get this functionality implemented....
