A Python script developed on Linux Ubuntu Mate 16.04 to interact with GQ Electronic's GMC-300 Geiger counter.

Files are provided allowing the logging of data from the device and presenting as graphics.

Make sure that the required Python modules are available, which are:

for simple datalogging: serial, time, datetime
for plotting: sys, inspect, numpy, matplotlib

all are available in the repositories of Ubuntu Mate 16.04
