    That's the solution. I don't know why the software created the files with different names, but it's reading the config file now. Sorry I had to ask such a basic question.

    Hello. I'm trying to get Hylafax+ working in a SOHO environment and having some trouble. For testing purposes, I connected my fax machine and my modem via a simple circuit that puts loop current on the line. But for this to work I need Hylafax to dial without waiting for a dial tone. I editied /var/spool/hylafax/etc/config.dev_tty_ACM0 to include the line ModemDialCmd: ATX3DT%s But there's no change in the behavior. Hylafax's logs still say it's dialing with ATDT. I tried to set something like ModemResetCmds:...
