i don't think it's hard to find a key for 1.7 version, before the registration was remade in 1.8 i can paste it but, like, with abandonware is it or not warez? registering vb you mean those 3 files? you just use command line for that if you have a problem with that and if you are not familiar at all with command line, you have to type (or paste) ENTIRE path to files every time or like put a copy of them into c:\1 and then [cd c:\1] and then type regsvr32 dx7vb.dll enter and regsvr32 dx8vb.dll enter...

it's the common 1.7 demo what do you mean by configuration? dxw file or what? i just downloaded it from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/dxwnd/

game crashes not because of the game but because it doesn't like dxw anymore as i said if i copy the same not used before dxw it works again until it doesn't
