Hi, I'm using ants for registration of CT scans. These CTs are in Hounsfield units. I was just wondering if I need to do some kind of convertion from Hounsfield units before doing any kind of registration or template creation. Does this impact the results? Thanks, T

I took a look at that actually. Theoretically what I want to do the following (but I'm having a hard time to figure out exactly how): Given that I have a template and want to compare different patients to it 1) Obtain the jacobian 2) Calculate the log-jacobian (how do I calculate this?) 3) Measure statistics comparing patient with template based on labels (per region) - I would like to have a metric for each region possibly representing the amount of deformation (how?) Hi, I would like to quantify the amount of deformation between images after a registration process using ANTs. I wanted some kind of gloabal measure and per-region measure. Is there an easy way to do that? How can I extract the deformation vector for each voxel? I was also taking a look at the example CreateDisplacementField.cxx. How does it work? Thanks, T
