Hi Chris Just re-reading your suggested methods to recover saved alignment. In the first method - centring the star manually with released clutches - Does it need to be a star in the Alignment list or any star a good distance away from the pole? and Do use my CdC planetarium to activate the Ascom sync? is there anyway of recovering saved alignment lists in Eqmod i have to store my mount after each session. (EQ6pro and VX 12" Orion Newtonian) i return it to exactly the same position and use Polemaster to polar align the adjustments needed to get excellentnpolar alignment are normally very small however when i load the saved alignment list the stars are way out . i use the Dialogue Mode for aligning. is there a way of recovering or reactivationg the saved alignment list or must i build a new alignment...
