Thanks Huub. I think I figured it out. The key was that most of the times this happened was during a solo when I used my Boss SD-1 overdrive pedal. It's more than 30 years old. I noticed more and more frequently I was getting a squealing noise when I used the pedal. According to folks online it could be some sort of oscillation. I cleaned the contacts, switched to battery power, and for now the squealing has stopped. Hopefully no more issues with being kicked off Jamulus.

Thanks Gilgongo. Will try disabling my Norton Anti-Virus first. Hope that helps.

This has happened a number of times to me. I'm connected to Jamulus with a group of people and in the middle of playing a song I get kicked off the session. According to the people I'm playing with this is usually accompanied by loud noise/static before I drop off. After closing Jamulus and reloading it works fine. Can it be CPU usage, Internet Drop or something else? Any ideas how to troubleshoot? I'm running Win10 on a laptop with AMD A12 7th Gen Chip in a 4 year old Acer, direct ethernet connection...

Hey Rob...Finally got around to looking at your latest write-up from June 21st. Nice job!! I think it looks great. Thanks much for doing this. I found the following link which is also helpful. Covers similar ground at the beginning but then goes into sending the Jamulus feed to Zoom and/or Facebook live stream. Our band is going to give it a try sometime over the next week or so. Cheers, Tom https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRWIJqgRUXc&feature=youtu.be

Hey Mark: Haven't done it in Reaper but there appear to be options...Looks like you can change the routing on the Metronome pop-up window and send it to ReaRoute. If you are playing with a microphone you can always use an external metronome, for example a phone app, and make it loud enough so the other people can hear it. Here are some links I found.... https://www.reddit.com/r/Reaper/comments/ad1rbl/question_about_metronome_routing/ https://promixacademy.com/blog/setting-up-the-metronome-in-rea...

Thanks Rob. You may be no expert but you've been very helpful. Thanks for the video. Kenny Gioia does some great videos. I've used MP3 tracks in Reaper - mostly as guide tracks when recording guitar and vocals. I ended up figuring out how to do it. I first tried connecting my laptop headphone out to one of the AI inputs. It didn't work. However, I realized I could connect my tablet, which has my iTunes music, with a cable from the headphone jack to one of the AI inputs and then set up the routing...
