Ok thanks a lot for the feedback, I will try some coding next week and see how it goes.

Ok. Well, then if I want to mess around with the KeePass 2x. code privately (so I don't intend to make chaos in public code base, also no forking etc). Some dirty hacking just for myself, you know :) So apart from the MergeIn methods, would you recommend some other place? Any tips would be much appreciated :) And are there extra steps required to prepare the build environment? Or just run e.g. Visual Studio Community and click build? Regarding our database, thanks a lot for willing to help, however...

And returing to my followup question number 1. But still, why not modify KeePass source code directly? If I was to do it, then I guess I would change the MergeIn... methods and the code around them? Perhaps Dominik @dreichl or Paul @pail459 could comment on that? Great thanks in advance!

Thanks for the info. I understand more or less the sync and the entry history, as we have been using it for years. But now after sync between these version sets of the same file we always do loose very many entries. And the team mates say they have not deleted them. So why o why does KeePass decide to delete them anyway? Additionaly we then always loose around 60% of the weight, but the size is in megabytes - normally we would not tell about it, but here it is quite a symptom rather confirming that...

Great! Many thanks for response. I will look into that 1. But still, why not modify KeePass source code directly? If I was to do it, then I guess I would change the MergeIn... methods and the code around them? 2. And anyway, our case is that we need to be always sure to merge the data the way we want it, and especially not loose any data. And additionaly, now, after using Keepass2.x for long time within the team, we have a strange situation that merging an old version of the database file with a...
