Quite Universal Circuit Simulator
I am new to Qucs and circuit simulation. I have made a simple astable subcircuit, based on the timer-555.sch, and created five ports for Vcc, GND, Output and two ports for the resistor between Vcc and pin 7 (discharge) of the 555. When I complete the circuit with a dc power supply and a resistor the Transient simulation behaves differently than when I complete the circuit explicly, without the abstraction of the subcircuit.
