I'm trying to clone a sata hdd to a new ssd but haven't had any luck with that. The source drive has multiple partitions maybe that has something to do with the rate slowing down and then locking up. What I mean by locking up the software just stalls. I've tried several times one time it finished sda1 but when doing sda2 it got to 57% done and stalled. Could it be the data cable attached to the ssd? I'm using Partclone version 0.3.12 on a Clonezilla 2.6.0-37 cd. I have never used Partclone to clone...
