    Thanks for the reply. If I knew Python I would offer to help, but I'm afraid I don't. Task Coach's functionality is one-of-a-kind for free software, as far as I can tell. So I hope it continues to evolve. I am on Gnome 3, not KDE, but deleting the ini doesn't fix the problem.
