How to capture text from *.png image file?
The problems is as follows: Occasionally I backup my Win system to 2 (!) external VC encrypted hard disks. Therefore I plug-in the USB cable from first hard-disk, mark drive letter R:, then click auto-mount. It works. My procedure script backup certain directories to the external hard disk. Afterwards I dismount the first hard disk and plugin the usb cable from second hard disk. Drive letter "R:" is still marked! Then I click again on button "auto-mount" But VC does NOT mount the second hard disk...
I bought a new external 8TB USB hard disk for backup purposes and would like to encrypt it completely with Veracrypt. There should be no partitions on hard disk BEFORE VeraCrypt create a volume on it. So VeraCrypt should work with the naked original hard disk. First question: Is this recommended? For safety reasons I want to have a second backup USB hard disk...

I accepted to perform a chkdsk of this disk after mount.....and a lot of errors were found. Hmm, thats bad. Curiously the hard disk in focus was...
Not the intended answer: Again: Where in the the following directory: https://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenzip/files/7-Zip/25.01/ can I find the Windows .zip package with the 7zip binaries? I see only .exe or *.msi packages In the past there were such *.zip packages
it is needed! 7zip should store its settings not in Registry and not in Windows user directory C:\users.... but in the 7zip directory (e.g. on USB flash drive)
