Thanks a lot. As said, I am not familiar with scripts, etc. So, I have no idea how to apply and work with them. That said, hopefully, one day in future, this will be included in 7Zip (I mean as GUI) When searching on something like 'extract multiple zip files in their parent folder' it seems that I am not the only one, but most, if not all 'solutions' refer to scripts or the like, there is no GUI solution I believe. Anyway, thanks again.
Many thanks. Sorry, I am just an simple end user and not familiar with scripts or above commands, regretfully so. I honestly would not know how to proceed on this, sorry.
I have a bunch of folders each containing a single iso file with the same name as the folder name. Would like to extract those iso files in their own (source)folders. Not found a way to do so, neither with other tools. Plus, after successfully extracting the iso files, delete the source (else I will be running out of space) The only workaround I know is to - first copy all the iso files to a temporary new folder and - extract them all 'to subfolders' Any suggestions? Thanks! p.s. Just for good order's...

Thanks for getting back on this. What I meant is to r-click files, then add to single archives, with password protection, file encryption. so, from: Abrocitinib.pdf Acitretine.pdf Adapalene.pdf Alitretinoïne.pdf Aluin.pdf to: Abrocitinib.7z Acitretine.7z Adapalene.7z Alitretinoïne.7z Aluin.7z See attachment. Thanks again.
Up front: 7-Zip is a magnificent tool! Below is no criticism, but a positively meant suggestion. I would like to select multiple files and have an (new) option to encrypt each file individually, instead of packing them all together in 1 file. I heard that WinRAR can do that. Maybe such feature could be added to 7Zip ? Thanks! (attached example)
Thanks for the above, sorry for the delay. I just gave it a try. I am running VietOCR on a Windows 10 x64 Virtual Machine (VMware Workstation Pro). The files are on an external USB drive. VietOCR started off nicely. After a while it stopped/exited. Windows Explorer showed up for a couple of seconds, then I ended up in a BSOD (IRQL error). After rebooting my PC, the Windows 10 x64-VM was damaged and I could not get it going again. Hence I need create a new VM, re-install Windows 10, etc. I do not...
Running BulkOCR on a folder with many subfolders Many files in sub sub folders are processed alright, but likewise many other files in more or less the same folders are nót processed. Even files in sub-sub-sub folders are processed, others are not. So I guess it has nothing to do with the folder structure. All files contain text. But .. I can take any of the 'non-processed' file, drag in onto VietOCR and VietOCR will handle the file without problems. The entire folder contains some 1250 files in...
