Makefile: change installation paths to more traditional

Fixed initial screens on some drivers (nvidia)

UPDATE: disregard that, appears to be due to compiler version mismatch (gcc 7.3 was used to build kernel, but system still only has 7.2.1)

Can not read characters other than latin1
