So it may help to elaborate on the problem I'm having... I'm joining two GoPro 4K 8min(ish) clips on windows 10, as GoPro split recordings to 8mins(ish) each, so I'm looking to join them back again. As you hopefully can see from the screenshots I've attached the MP4Joiner software correctly says the joined output will be 16m5s long. But the output file is actually 12h12m40s long, when I play this in VLC (again in Windows 10) it plays perfectly during the first 16m5s but the second after that VLC...
I'm having the very same issue, I think it only happens for me with 4K footage, is that the case for you too?
Hello. I am trying to join 4K GoPro footage together (as it splits it's files!). The files are 8mins2s each (25fps, h264 (avc1) aac 48KHz 128kbits). But when they're joined the file duration is (when played in VLC, and also windows details shows this too): 12hrs, 11mins, 52secs I've found if I try to play any part between 00:00:00 and 00:16:04 it works fine as that content exists I guess, but when I click outside of that mark VLC stops playing the file.
