Permissions seem to have been part of the problem. On Windows 10, I found that the exe and dll did not have full control checked for authenticated users. When I checked it, everything runs great! On Windows 7, not sure what happened . Full control box IS checked for authenticated users. Yesterday the GUI did not appear. Today it works fine in Windows 7. The exe and dll files are present. On first execution, the program created 3 ini files: CDROM.ini, HDD.ini, and machine0.ini. If there should be four, then execution seems to have crashed at that point.

I downloaded your latest QToaster version 1.0.1 this morning, and attempted to install it on two different computers. One runs Windows 7 and the other Windows 10. In both cases, after giving admin permission to execute the installation exe, The program appeared to immediately crash without installing anything. There is no indication that my internet security applications blocked the install. Has any one else reported this problem? Can you recommend a way around the problem? I take it back. The install...
