Ok I'm confused. Which perfs Editor? The one in the IDE or the one I can't find in GCStudio? I foun a programmer editor.exe in both directories, and they are correct. Also the one in the IDE tools/GCB tool, the edit programmer there is different.
Tried that in the GCStudio folder (the programmer preference.exe in the folder). I put it to the top and checked the edit. but when I do f5, it goes to a directory for an earlier version of MPlabx that I uninstalled. It does work ok in the GCbasic ide, jut not in the GC Studio. Is there a different place I need to do it? I'm playing with a PIC16F886

I can get the GC basic IDE to find and use the Pickit3, but for GCStudio, it keeps goint to the wrong place and I cannot find where to edit it. Probably something simple I missed, but....
