I would prefer that 7-Zip wouldn't show errors for data formats that it does not (fully) understand, or that a warning message informs that error messages and the content list are not reliable. P.S. The changelog seems to not mention zstd.

After mounting an offline install ISO image for OpenSUSE Tumbleweed x86_64 - see https://get.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/#download e.g. snapshot of 2022-08-22 https://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/iso/openSUSE-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-Current.iso - on Windows (with the software Cyberlink), 7Zip reports many of the .rpm files as defective with the "test" function ("7z.exe t ..."), e.g. the Mozilla Firefox main package. The OpenSUSE community rejects the notion that these files could be faulty, so this...

If I do a system only encryption I think my documents can still be recovered from the smaller unencrypted partitions Windows creates correct? You seem to mean the Windows boot partition? It does not contain user data. To have you user data separated, you have to create a separate partition or use a different drive for this purpose. Windows would still store your user profile (where your personal stuff resides per default) on the system drive, so you would have to migrate that, too. I can't say how,...

I don't know VC on Linux, just both separately. Do you mount VC volumes by hand only? Please check whether the drive is still accessible as /dev/sdv, that the partition table is still like you created it, and that no automatic mounting or configuration takes place. Check the system log.
