  Hi Bruce, EBCDIC is a binary code for alphabetic and numeric characters and it's contain 256 possible characters (letters of the alphabet, numerals, and special characters).EBCDIC is 8 bit character encoding used on IBM mainframes. I think these is EBCDIC mixture file.   Hi, I need to read mainframe file by using cobol copybook.File containing packed decimal and binary data.By using recordeditor i have generate java code.But im mot getting correct ouyput.Could you plese help me someone with code.Im attaching copybook and sample file. Thanks Swapna
